To have an accredited massage therapist
is a beautiful
thing
indeed. Most independent massage
therapists only
accept cash,
but in the ever changing world of
medicine
alternative approaches to
healing is being taken much more
seriously these days. I, for one, am
a huge proponent of this
change. I am currently the only massage
therapist in Medford
Oregon who is
accredited for accepting most medical
insurances.
To know if your insurance accepts
massage benefits I recommend that you
contact your insurance company by
locating the 800 number on the back of
your card. Details for your co-pay will
differ from insurance company and policy
so know what your benefits are prior
to
calling for an appointment. If you do
not have insurance I always suggest that
my clients keep their receipts so that
they may enjoy
the tax benefits at the
end of the year, but always check with
your tax professional for up to date tax
deductions on medical services.
